Our new style croaking frogs come in natural finishes of six different sizes. They look more similar to the real frogs than their predecessors. They are carved mainly out of the rain tree wood, or mango wood, or (if both kinds of wood are unavailable) jackfruit wood. "Chumchaa" or the rain tree wood is the most popular one used. With natural finish, we can clearly see the wood grain, which is also very nice!

The frogs will make frog-like sounds when you strike their backs with the large end of the playing sticks. These new style frogs can give less bright sounds than the original one; however, they look nicer! We can also stain them in oak finish.
